Foil Blocking is back in fashion! It is now not just adorning Letterheadings and Business Cards but a whole host of other printed matter from Greetings Cards to Gift Wrap, Book Covers to Certificates, Wine Labels to Holographic Security work.

With the advance in diemaking the origination costs are coming down and with a Foil-Tech machine working from lazer-printed sheets, variable data and short run jobs can be foiled with impressive results at reasonable production speeds. We now have three models available, The Foil-Tech, the Foil-Tech Professional and now the FT10 Junior.

Until now, foil blockers have been forced to choose between traditional  letterpress equipment which is affordable but has a maximum running speed of less than 2,000 iph, or higher speed equipment which is too large and much too expensive.

Caslon Limited can now offer an alternative to the heavy cumbersome outdated equipment, the Thermotype NSF A3+. It is currently being used on double day shifts in American and UK Greetings Card manufacturers.
