In addition to foil fusing, which changes the colour of the finished result, it is also possible to process the toner image with a special clear foil. This produces a more dense and glossy effect that not only makes the finished result more permanent but adds a gloss lustre similar to spot varnishing.

Caslon Fusing Foil is sold in 30 cm wide rolls by 150 and 300 metres in length.
